Main Content: Are extra flights at London City Airport affecting you? - 03/06/2010 10:00
The London Assembly's Environment Committee wants to hear your views.
In July 2009, the London Borough of Newham granted London City Airport planning permission to increase the number of flights to 120,000 per year.
The London Assembly's Environment Committee is investigating the impact of the expansion of the airport and wants to gauge public opinion about how flights to and from the airport are affecting local people.
The investigation will look at environmental impacts like noise, emissions and air quality and whether the current environmental safeguards and controls are adequate. The committee is keen to hear how the extra flights are affecting local people and have created an online survey.
You can complete the survey by clicking here (opens in new window). Alternatively, you can email your views to david.bellman@london.gov.uk
