Exhibition open daily until 23 October
THCH is hosting our annual Black History Exhibition this fortnight as we celebrate and promote knowledge of the rich and diverse heritage and culture of the Black community.
The event is taking place at THCH's Head Office at 285 Commercial Road, Stepney, daily between 12 - 23 October.
The exhibition is free and open between 10am and 4pm.
Many of the images and objects on show have been loaned by THCH staff whilst a number of our residents have contributed stories of their lives - including tales of childhoods spent in the Caribbean to the hostility and difficulties experienced when they first arrived in the UK through to a life working and living in the East End of London.
The exhibition has a wealth of material and is certianly worth popping in if you have a spare half hour.
