Crime Fighting Training - London - 25 November 2009
The Community Crime Fighters programme was announced by the former Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith in September 2008 with the aim of developing stronger links between crime fighting agencies and the communities they serve.
Community Crime Fighters are members of the public who are already active in their community but want to do more.
Louise Casey, the Governments Crime and Justice Advisor will be making the key note presentation at the event and during the course of the day, delegates will get the chance to participate in various workshops.
The Community Crime Fighting training provides an opportunity to learn:
- What the Police Pledge means
- The tools and powers local authorities could and should be using to tackle anti-social behaviour and crime
- The help provided to victims and witnesses of crime and anti-social behaviour
- Ways to get the best out of crime fighting agencies
The event is free of charge and refreshments will be available. Assistance with travel costs is also available.
To book a place please call the Community Crime Fighters registration desk on 0800 197 2965 or online at www.communitycrimefighters.org.uk quoting booking reference ccf02.
