Main Content: Launch of the Tower Hamlets Housing Strategy - 30/09/2009 13:08
Consultation places now available to THCH residents
Tower Hamlets Council has announced the dual launch of their new Housing Strategy and the commencement of the Lettings Review Consultation Programme at an event to be held in Bethnal Green in October.
The conference will take place at Oxford House, Derbyshire Street, London, E2 6HG on 16 October 2009 between 9:30am and 1:00pm
The Housing Strategy was adopted by the Council in May 2009 and sets out the Borough's priorities and vision of housing in Tower Hamlets over the next three years. The strategy is the culmination of the Council's wide-spread consultation with residents and partners earlier this year.
One of the key commitments in the Strategy was to review the Lettings Policy and improve on the existing Choice Based Lettings scheme.
The conference will feature speeches by the Council's Lead Member for Housing and Development, Councillor Marc Francis.
Places are limited so to reserve your place, please contact the Council's Strategic Housing team by Friday, 9 October 2009 on 020 7364 5000.
