A rap and spoken word event by and for young people of the East End
French artist, Melik Ohanian brings his installation, 'Peripherical Communities' to the UK for the first time.
Peripherical Communities is the first part of an ongoing arts project on identity and belonging. Workshops will be held with Melik being joined by MC Angel and Deanne Rodger where young people from diverse backgrounds can learn to create work and perform to a live audience.
The event is free and takes place on 3 May 2011 from 7:30pm at the Rich Mix Centre, 35-47 Bethnal Green Road, London, E1 6LA.
