Each September, we hold our annual Hop Festival in the courtyard gardens in Cable Street, Shadwell.
The festival is a chance for many Eastenders to get together and reminisce about a bygone age - one of long, hard, but equally, fun and memorable working holidays picking hops in the Kent countryside.
In 2008, 2010 and 2011 we produced booklets using images and stories provided by THCH staff, residents and friends.
Booklets can be downloaded, however, these are large documents and may take some time.
If you would like to be sent a copy of these booklets or have a story or photos you would like to contribute in future issues, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please contact our Community Development Team on 020 7780 3070 or email thch@thch.org.uk
