Following recent local events, THCH would like to remind tenants of their responsibilities regarding their balconies.
Balconies provide residents with a useable outside amenity area to enjoy and should not be used as an additional storage space for personal possessions. We recommend that balconies only contain a small patio table, chairs and a small quantity of plants in a ceramic or metal containers.
The following items are prohibited on balconies:
- Barbecues
- Gas cylinders (or any item containing flammable liquid)
- Washing horses and clothes lines
- Bicycles
- Reed Fencing or other combustible screening.
Also, Cigarette butts should not be discarded over the edge of any balcony, but disposed of in a suitable designed metal container.
