Minerva Estate Community Centre is currently closed and due to reopen in October.
Zander Court Club Room is due to be closed from 1 September and reopen in October.

Our community centres and club rooms are an important part of bringing our communities and people together.
They’re vibrant spaces for residents, community groups, and charities to connect, learn, and enjoy. Whether it's boxing, cooking, or just a cup of tea, all sorts of activities are hosted in them. Find out more about them below.

What goes on at our community centres
BoxersFitness Academy at Tarling
Run by Ashraf Ali, the BoxersFitness Academy club meets at the Tarling Community Centre every Monday.
An important time of the week for all it's attendees, the club has brought together people of all ages and given them a sense of discipline, belonging and confidence.
It's a great example of the power of sport for the community.
Lunch Club at Minerva
The lunch club, hosted at the Minerva Community Centre, is a welcoming space where residents come together to enjoy food, conversation, and a sense of community.
This club is just one of the many activities and groups hosted there, and is regularly attended by residents from across our Bethnal Green community. Supported financially by one of our contractors, Greener Solutions, it's the highlight of attendees weeks.
LinkAge at Tarling At our Tarling East centre, there's always something vibrant going on.
During summer in 2024, LinkAge, hosted their annual tea part on Older Person's Week.
Over 70 guests enjoyed a delicious hot lunch, a variety of cakes, and lively music that got everyone dancing. It's a great example of how community organisations can foster connections among older residents.
Celebrating Eid in Shadwell Our Customer Services team swapped their headsets for henna and face paint, as they hosted a vibrant Eid celebration at the Tarling East Community Centre.
This event helped build community connections between our staff and residents of the local area, as customers could meet the people they often hear on the phone face to face.
Asian People's Disability Alliance (APDA) in Bethnal Green At the heart of Tower Hamlets, APDA are creating a safe, welcoming space for women to connect, grow, and thrive.
Meeting weekly at our Minerva Community Centre, APDA supports Asian women living with disabilities, health problems, suffering from mental health, or experiencing social isolation.
