Your Neighbourhood Officer

Your Neighbourhood Officer

Our Neighbourhood Officers support residents with all things housing — whether it's to do with rent, community matters, tenancy agreements, gardening or repairs, they are the glue between residents and THCH.

Who is your Neighbourhood Officer?

Each Neighbourhood Officer looks after something we call a 'patch'. This is an area that includes a certain amount of our properties, blocks or estates. This means that not only can they help you with your individual concerns, but they also know your area and your community.

You can find who your Neighbourhood Officer is using the map below. Click this Cleaner list on the map to find the list of Neighbourhood Officers. Click the arrow under each name to see which properties are in their patch. You can also click this Full screen to view the map in full screen.

Home visits

Our Neighbourhoods team carry out regular home visits throughout the year to help us keep your home safe and well looked after. In 2024-25, they completed over 900.
These visits ensure we have up-to-date information about who’s living in the property and give us a chance to check in on important issues like safety, damp and mould, and anything else you might need support with.
By regularly visiting properties, we can better understand the wellbeing of our customers and the condition of our buildings.
We've been able to resolve issues like damp and mould, check window safety features, increase awareness fire evacuation procedures, and produce Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) for those that need them. They also give us a clearer picture of block-wide concerns and neighbourhood trends, helping us take proactive steps to improve your living environment.
So, keep an eye out and an ear to the ground for your Neighbourhood Officer. Completing a home visit with them is a great opportunity to stay informed, raise any concerns, and help us support you and your building in the best way possible.
