Customer service hours
Throughout the festive break, you’ll still be able to call us on 020 780 3070 to report any emergencies.
- 22 December: open as usual (phonelines 8:30am - 5pm, reception open 10am - 2pm)
- 23 December – 1 January 2024: reception closed
- 2 January 2024: reception re-opens with usual operating hours
Estates and cleaning
- 23 December: 8–12pm
- Christmas day: Closed
- 26 December: 7am – 3pm
- 27 December: 7am – 3pm
- 28 December: 7am – 3pm
- 29 December: 7am – 3pm
- 30 December: 8am – 12pm

- 2 January: business returns as usual
Christmas tree recycling
To have your real Christmas tree recycled, please leave it by your bin area between 2-15 January 2024, for our contractor, Accuro, to collect.
Waste collection
All weekday collections will be one day later than usual. For example, if your collection is normally on a Monday, it will be on a Tuesday. Waste collections are managed by Tower Hamlets Council, please visit the Council website for further details.
