We've partnered with Airey Miller to carry out in-depth external wall surveys

Since the tragic events at Grenfell in 2017, we have designed a remedial fire safety and cladding works programme to ensure our residents and buildings are safe. As part of this programme, we have already assessed the external walls of our buildings for fire resistance (EWS1 certificates) and have carried out surveys on any existing cladding.

In line with new government guidelines, we are carrying out further in-depth investigative external wall surveys on some of our buildings. We’ve partnered with specialist property surveyors, Airey Miller, to provide these surveys. They will act as independent consultants to find the best solution.

If your building is affected, it will be listed below and will write to you one week before works start:

  • Luke House
  • Bill Faust House
  • Sadique House
  • Adam Meere House
  • Geoffrey Woolley House
  • Cobden House
  • Stuttle House
  • Hobson Place
  • Brinsley House
  • Dean House
  • Foley House
  • Robert Sutton House

The survey is carefully planned and will involve intrusive works to the external wall, and in some cases may require limited access to your communal areas. We expect the works to take one week from start to finish. Please be assured this is a routine inspection. Should any further works be identified, Airey Miller will host a resident meeting to provide more information and answer any questions.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience, and we’ll try to keep disruption to a minimum.
