Why THCH?

Come and work with us

We're THCH. We're a local landlord and we care about our community. We provide safe, affordable, and well-maintained homes. And we listen to our residents to continuously improve what we do.

We give our people the freedom to do what's right for our residents. We celebrate diversity and inclusion to help create a place where people love to work.

What we offer

We have a social purpose; we create places people are proud to call home - which makes our people proud too. At THCH, you'll make a difference. The best ideas win, and you're trusted to do the right thing for our residents.

We value your time, effort and dedication to your role. That's why we reward our people with a worklife balance and supportive environment. Our benefits:

Flexible working

Our full-time hours are 37.5 hours per week. We understand work is what you do, not where you do it. Most of our people split their time between their home and our offices (a few minutes from Algate East, 15 minutes from Liverpool Street). We also have dedicated field-based people who are out and about in our communities. Your role will depend on resident and business needs.

Your wellbeing

We offer a generous annual wellbeing package. Whether that's towards a home gym, yoga retreat or back massage, we want you to feel good about yourself. Happy employees make happy residents!

Mental health

As part of our Employee Assistance Programme, we offer a free confiential counselling helpline. You'll be connected with the right support needed for you. We also have in-house Mental Health First Aiders who can support you.

Work life balance

We offer 28 days holiday, which increases to 33 days after five years of working with us. You'll also get the bank holidays, three days off at Christmas and one extra concessionary day to use at a time that suits you.

Peace of mind

You'll thank your future self for joining THCH - as part of your SHPS pension scheme, we'll match contributions up to 14%

Travel

We offer a interest free season ticket loan for your train travel, or we can arrange a parking spot (at cost)

  • Create a positive impact on our company culture; especially employee engagement and resident satisfaction

  • Adopt the recommendations of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets BAME Inequalities Commission to the benefit of our employees; residents and communities.

“I am registered disabled and work for THCH, I started working for THCH over 2 years ago and I have found them to be very supportive of my needs.  I was given a dedicated parking spot which enabled me to travel to work, without the stress of travelling on public transport which I found painful and difficult.  I have had full support from THCH when I applied for an access to work grant which enabled me to have specialist equipment bought through a Government grant.

I would highly recommend THCH as a Disability Confident employer, they have shown me lots of empathy and I have been able to progress in my personal development within the organisation.”
