Home surveys (also known as stock condition surveys) are visual inspections of the inside and outside of your home. It involves an assessment of the condition of major elements of your home (like your kitchen, bathroom, windows, and doors), and potentially some photographs, with your permission.
Your home survey is highly important for the safety of you and your family. We need to be able to check the condition of your home, so we can plan for repairs and future investments. If you can spare 40 minutes in your day to let us in, it’ll really help to make a difference for your home, family, and community.
Booking your survey
The survey will be carried out by our Stock Condition Surveyor, or Michael Dyson Associates Ltd on behalf of THCH.
If you have received a letter, text message or email to say your Home Survey is due, then please arrange an appointment for your survey directly with Michael Dyson surveyors.

They’ll be able to offer a date and time between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
If they’re in your area inspecting other homes, and you haven’t already booked an appointment, they may knock on your door to see if they can come in while they’re there. In this case, they will always show ID, and would appreciate if you could allow access.
Please be aware that this survey doesn’t collect information on any outstanding repairs to your home.
